Let’s welcome Kristine Cardiel as our new assistant principal for the 2022-23 school year! 

Mrs. Cardiel joins us at Sierra Middle School Year after eight years of service at Village Oaks High School. At VOHS, she helped students solve both short-term and long-term problems as the school’s social science department chair. She also wrote WASC reports, along with tardy and detention policies for the campus.

Here at Sierra, Mrs. Cardiel wants all Spartans to be effective and empathetic problem-solvers. She aims to work with our staff on implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports exercises, all while helping students readjust to in-person learning and activities. Mrs. Cardiel opens her door to all Sierra families, and she encourages open communication throughout our campus community.
