America’s Got Talent winner and spoken word poet Brandon Leake is a Stockton native who is showing JMC students that they can succeed and set goals for themselves. Brandon was at JMC for the week of Nov. 14 - 18 to teach Owls about poetry concepts such as rhyming, onomatopoeia and alliteration. He helps students recognize roadblocks that may keep them from achieving their dreams.
