First grade is an exciting year filled with new challenges as students move into upper elementary academics. Students are encouraged to become responsible for organizing and completing work by due dates. Students will need to master certain skills and will need help from home to reach these goals. All students are encouraged to develop their skills within a challenging, supportive and active learning environment.
