Basic Information and Rules
1. ENROLLMENT: We hope to enroll all students wishing to participate in the The APEX. Pick up an application in the office or see Ms. Mac or Miss Aldridge for an enrollment packet. Please note that this is NOT a drop in child care program. It is an extension of the school day providing additional learning opportunities.
2. ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is mandatory. Children who have five (5) unexcused absences will be dropped from the program. Students attend THE APEX only when they attend school during the 'regular' day. Children are expected to stay for the entire program each day or have an Early Release permission slip on file to leave early.
3. STUDENT PICK UP: Students participating in THE APEX will be released at the end of the day and be allowed to walk home or wait for a parent to pick them up. Bus transportation will begin Jan. 12, 2009 for students enrolled in THE APEX. Bus will arrive at 4:55pm.
