MABLE BARRON

Thank you for your interest in Mable Barron School. This is a Kindergarten through 8th grade school. We have 735 students. For students in 1st through 8th grade, school begins at 8:15 a.m. and is dismissed at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Each Monday we dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Our kindergarten students are enrolled in either a morning program (8:15am-11:35pm) or afternoon program (11:10am-2:30pm). Our school has a very capable staff plus a strong Parent/Teacher/Student Association. PTSA meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. in the library.  We encourage parents or guardians to attend, as it is a way to find out about the school. We have an excellent Art Docent program, which is run by parent volunteers. We have a classroom music teacher, beginning band teacher, advanced band teacher, and a strings teacher. We offer an After School Enrichment Program for students in grade 1st through 6th grade for free. There is also lessons offered afterschool for a reasonable fee, students may take classes in art, sports, Spanish, and more. We take pride in our school and our community spirit.
