Welcome to Don Riggio School!

When your child is enrolled at Don Riggio School, you and your child are part of a very special learning community where each and every member is valued for their unique gifts and talents and is encouraged to contribute to the success of the community as a whole.

The staff believes in:

•Developing your child as a co-producer, explorer, and researcher of knowledge rather than just a consumer.

•Identifying important overarching concepts that can be applied to real-life situations as we deliver the essential standards of our curriculum.

•Helping your child develop expertise in his or her areas of interest and/or talent.

•Teaching problem-solving skills to help your child become a life-long learner.

•Success in school depends on your child being interested in learning, working hard, trying to understand, and working collaboratively.

Parents can also be a co-producer in their children's education.  All parents desire to give their children the best chance in this world.  As parents we don't always how to advise children in all situations.  We have a convienient resource for you with exactly the help and advice you need, when you need it, to help children succeed in school.

THE PARENT INSTITUTE has newsletters and videos for you on many subjects including Self Esteen, Responsibility, Helping Children Learn, Problem Solving, Using Time Wisely, Resolving Conflicts, Instilling the Desire, Grief, Diovorce, Off to a Good Start and many, many more.

All newsletters are in English and Spanish.
