Colonial Heights
Colonial Heights School is a suburban pre/k-8 school located in north Stockton. It has a population of approximately 625 students and is a school of rich ethnic diversity, with eleven home languages spoken. The school boasts a highly trained staff of certificated and classified professionals. The teaching staff strives to provide challenging, standards-based instruction with the mission of seeing all students succeed and become respectful, responsible, thoughtful, and literate citizens.
In addition to our regular classroom teachers, Colonial Heights has a Learning Center for special education students, a Title I teacher and a Title I counselor. The school provides classroom music, band, orchestra, choral instruction and physical education instruction for students in grades one through eight. The school has a Library Media Center with Internet access and a Computer Lab.
Colonial Heights has a state preschool and a First Five preschool housed on its campus. An After School Is In program is also located on campus and provides enrichment and homework assistance for students after school.
