Thank you for your interest in Mable Barron School.
This is a Kindergarten through 8th grade school. We have 720 students. School begins at 8:00 a.m. and is dismissed at 2:15 p.m. Each Monday we dismiss at 1:15 p.m.
Our school has a very capable staff plus a strong Parent/Teacher/Student Association. PTSA meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the 8th grade area. We encourage parents or guardians to attend, as it is a way to find out about the school.
We have an excellent Art Docent program, which is run by parent volunteers.
We have a classroom music teacher, beginning band teacher, advanced band teacher, and a strings teacher.
We offer an After School Enrichment Program. For a reasonable fee, students may take classes in art, sports, Aikido, and more.
We take pride in our school and our community spirit. We have an all-school flag salute each Friday morning at 8:00 a.m.
