GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

ASB ELECTIONS: Election petitions and job descriptions are available in the Activities office. They are due today by noon.

SENIORS: If you are a CSF Life Member and planning to attend Delta next year, please see Ms. Landucci in Room 1510 as soon as possible. There is a $500 scholarship available.

TOD A. SCHOLARSHIP: The deadline is Friday, March 12, 2010. Applications can be obtained at the Educational Planning Center.

PARKING: This is a courtesy reminder that Swenson Park, golf course, parking lot and the clubhouse are off limits from 7-4. Please refer to the student handbook, page 9. Students found on this property will be given Saturday school for the first offense and may be suspended for repeat offenses.

RECOGNITION: This month there are three LHS members that deserve an entire month of recognition. Congratulations to the Student of the Month Brandon Yi, Teacher of the Month Tom Galvin and Staff Member of the Month Jose Resendez.

TEACHER OF THE MONTH: March’s Teacher of the Month is a previous Lincoln coach and a hardworking gym teacher. He uses his coaching skills to push students in his class. Congratulations Mr. Galvin.

POWDER PUFF: The last day to turn in paperwork for players, coaches & cheerleaders is Friday. The sooner you turn it in the better chance you have of receiving your first choice of number. Don’t wait until the last minute.

DESI CLUB: Come to the Desi club meeting today @ lunch and order your shirts. This meeting is also mandatory for all the dancers.

PINK LADIES: They will be having another meeting at lunch today in room 1208 to sign up volunteers for next Wednesday's Soccer game for Breast Cancer fundraising.

MECHA CLUB: The members reading the poem "I Am Joaquin" there is mandatory practice everyday starting this Friday to March 23 at lunch in room 1305.

DRAMA CLUB: There is a meeting Friday at 11:30 in 1209. Multi-Cultural week to be discussed.

FRIENDS CLUB: There is a meeting on Friday, March 12 during lunch in room 1113 to discuss International Night and Basketball Jamboree.

CULINARY ARTS: There will be a mandatory meeting Friday the 12th to discuss Multi-Cultural night preparations.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: There is a meeting on Monday at lunch in room 1126. New members are welcome.

PLAY PINK: Wednesday, March 17th the Lincoln High School Girl's Soccer team will be hosting a "Play Pink" Benefit Soccer Game against St. Mary's High School in the Lincoln High School Alex G. Spanos football stadium. All proceeds from the game will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation for Breast Cancer Research. Please wear Pink in support of those that have been affected by breast cancer. Tickets are $5 for adults and students will be asked to make a $2.00 donation. Also, bring your coins that night as they will be collecting Change to Make a Change. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the JV game will kickoff at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Varsity game at 5:45 p.m.

Cancer survivors will have special seating and will be honored during a ceremony between the JV and Varsity games. Please Support your Team! Support Your School! Support a Great Cause!
