GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
NEW BIKE AREA: Please only lock your bikes INSIDE the new fenced bike area next to the weight room. Any bikes on the outside will be cut and removed.
ASB PUNCH SALES: There is still time to buy your ASB punch. It’s only $35 and saves you money on admission to dances, rallys and sporting events. Stop by the Activities office during lunch or after school.
PSAT: It will be given on Wednesday, October 13, 7:30 am at LHS. Student’s can register to take the exam on Sept. 8th, 15th or 29th. The cost is $14.00. Bring your PSAT registration and $14.00 to the M-Z side of the Student Service Center during lunch or after school.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: The Science Exploration Saturday is looking for volunteers! High School students do not necessarily have to have a background in science but are looking for motivated, responsible students, who enjoy working with children. The program runs once a month and is from 8:30 am-12pm(noon).
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: Internships now available for Congressman Jerry McNerney's 2010 campaign. Full Time (20 hrs/per week) or Part Time (10 hours per week). Gain experience in civic engagement and make a difference in your community. For more information, contact Mrs. Hernandez at the Educational Planning Center.
CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY: You are invited to the Grand Opening of the new Engineering and Construction Academy on September the 9th at 5:30 P.M. The Academy is located on the corner of Stanton Way and Harrisburg. Come celebrate with us and see our fantastic new state-of-the-art facilities.
JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Science camp is right around the corner! Pick up an application in the A-L side of the student service center.
CSF: CSF applications are now being accepted. Bring your second semester report card and $5 to Ms. Landucci in Room 1510. The deadline is Friday, Sept. 3 and late applications will not be accepted. Freshman can begin applying in January.

YEARBOOK SENIOR ADS DEADLINE: Now is the time to reserve your ad space! Ad packets were distributed during orientation. Seniors who did not attend orientation or are in need of a packet may pick one up in Room 1112 any Wednesday. The deadline for senior ad purchases is December 15! Space is limited, so purchase EARLY !
CLUB EVENTS & HAPPENINGS
FRESHMEN ELECTIONS: Do you want to be more involved and have the ability to make decisions that will affect the school and your freshman class? Well then, pick up a freshman petition starting Friday, September 3rd to become the next President, Vice President/Treasurer, Secretary or Publicity Officer of the class of 2014 and become part of our awesome Student Council class.
SENIOR PAINT THE WALK: Attention Seniors! Senior Paint the Walk will be held tonight from 4-7pm at the gazebo. All squares are sold out!!
FUTURE BUILDERS CLUB: There is a new and exciting club on campus. All students are welcome to join the "Future Builders Club". Our club will have our first meeting on today at lunch in our Resource Center of the Engineering and Construction Academy room 2301.
GSA CLUB: They will meet in room 1117 during lunch today.
DANCE CLUB: There will be a dance club meeting today at lunch in room 2204. New members are always welcome.
KEY CLUB: Are you looking for a fun way to get involved and give back to your community? Key Club will be having their 1st meeting of the year today during lunch in Mr. Harper’s room #1111.
PINK LADIES: They will be having its first meeting of the year. We will be electing officers for the new year. Room 1208 lunchtime today.
A FOR AFRICA: There will be a meeting in room 1205 today during lunch.
INTERACT CLUB: Interact, Interact, Interact! Are you interested in joining a community service based club that works hand in hand with North Stockton Rotary? Then Interact is the club for you. Please join us at the first meeting of the year, this Friday at lunch in room 1415. New members are always welcome!
SPEECH & DEBATE: Speech and Debate will be meet Monday in room 1511 at lunch. Thank you to all of those who came to our last meeting, we are still welcoming new members to the Speech and Debate Team. Please join us Monday at lunch to sign-up for our first Speech tournament, vote for our officers, and decide this semester's practice schedule. See you there.
LEO’S CLUB: Their first meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 7 during lunch in the Ed Planning Center.
KOREAN CLUB: They will be meeting next Tuesday during lunch in room 1521. New members are always welcome.

FOOTBALL TICKETS: They will be sold Thursday and Friday at lunch at the stadium box office for Friday night’s game. Adults $8, boosters $7, and students $5 with ASB punch. Avoid the lines on Friday night get your tickets early.
ATTENTION ALL CRAZY & SPIRITED TROJANS: Do you want to be a Lincoln Lunatic? If so, dress up in LHS colors and arrive at 6:30pm with your ticket in front of the stadium this Friday for face painting and giveaways before the varsity football game. This is your chance to support our team at their first home game. For more information visit the Activities Office. Don’t forget to buy your ticket beforehand!
