Your start page (also known as your homepage) is the first page that appears when you log on to the Internet. You can return to your start page at any time by clicking your browser's Home button.

Search the Web, visit LUSD web sites, and access your email from the LincNet Portal.

Browser Instructions



Adjust your browser preferences to make LincNet Portal your home page.

TIP: To find out which browser version you're using, click your browser's Help menu, and select About Navigator or Communicator or About Internet Explorer.

Firefox

Version 2.x or above:
1. Click on the Firefox menu
2. Choose Preferences
3. Under Main Tab click on "Use current page"
4. Close the dialog box

Safari

Version 2.x or above:
1. Click on the Safari menu
2. Choose Preferences
3. Under General Tab click on "Use current page"
4. Close the dialog box

  Microsoft Internet Explorer

Version 4.x and above:
1. Go to http://portal.lusd.net
2. Click your browser's View menu
3. Select Internet Options
4. Click the General tab
5. In the Home Page section, click Use Currentand click OK

Version 3.x and below:
1. Go to http://portal.lusd.net
2. Click your browser's View menu
3. Choose Options
4. Click the Navigation tab
5. Click Use Current and click OK
NOTE: Next time you fire up your browser, your home page will appear first. When visiting another site, click your browser's Home button (top middle icon of the menu bar) to return to your home page.
