Maintenance and Operations

The Facilities Maintenance and Operations departments' core mission is to provide our schools facilities with safe and healthy environments that are conducive and supportive of student educational achievement.

The Maintenance Department consists of both clerical and a variety of skilled trade members that provide emergency, scheduled and preventive maintenance repair services. Department services include; work coordination, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, heating/air conditioning, audio/visual, locksmith functions, welding, fire alarm and intercom systems upkeep at all sites.

The departments Construction responsibilities include working with Board Members, Administrators, and Site Staff to identify the needs for each school site. Projects are prioritized, costs are determined, and contractors are contacted. This Department also implements the plans for the modernization projects and additions to existing school sites along with the Districts 5-Year Deferred Maintenance Program.
